Hello & Welcome to the latest news from Southey Creek Glamping!

Hello & Welcome

We are so excited and can't wait to tell you all the latest news about our 400 acre arable farm and new glamping adventure - https://www.southeycreekglamping.co.uk/

It has been a wonderful 1st month of opening our glamping for guests and have met so many lovely people from many different places. The sound of laughter and enjoyment coming from our pods has been such a lovely thing to hear, especially after a crazy year for all of us! We love our farm and want to show our glampers how lovely it is too and share the peacefulness, views, nature and all it has to offer.

Our guests have left us really lovely reviews which has meant so much to us, so a huge THANK YOU to all our glampers!!

A little about our glamping pods

We have 2 luxury glamping pods (Oyster Catcher & Marsh Harrier) which sleep 2 adults. They are fully equipped with everything needed for a fantastic holiday all year round, including a cosy bed and kitchenette.

Our 400 acre working arable farm has beautiful views across the fields towards the Blackwater Estuary and the famous old Thames Barges and boats. Our glampers can sit and relax whilst watching the world go by and experience all the lovely things that are just on our doorstep.

You can easily walk along the sea wall into Maldon. There are many interesting things to see and do in the nearby historical town of Maldon, Mundon and local villages, including some very nice pubs, restaurants and local shops!

A little about our farm - Bramble Hall

Our family run 400 acre arable farm is located in Mundon, Essex. The farm has been in the family for 4 generations (90 years).

Only 2.5 miles away from the market town of Maldon and 11 miles away from bustling Chelmsford.

We grow many different crops though mainly Wheat, Peas and Oil Seed Rape. During the Spring and Summer there are patchworks of colours spread across the fields to enjoy.

Our farm has lovely views across the fields towards the Blackwater Estuary and the famous old Thames Barges and boats. With private access for our visitors, take a walk along the side of the fields and head along the Sea Wall into the town of Maldon with bars, restaurants and shops (45 minute walk/5 minute drive). Walk the other way and you will find the village of Mundon which has a quaint wood, Grade I listed church, petrified oak forest and a cosy pub.

Escape from the noise and bustle and enjoy the abundance of birds, animals, flower and fauna our farm has to offer. You may even meet our resident Pheasants, Kestrel, Woodpecker and Barn Owl or hear the Cuckoo.

If you see Crispin or his dad Peter in their tractor, don't forget to wave.

We love our farm and hopefully you'll love seeing it too and sharing our journey with us!

Julie & Crispin Binder
